December 2024
Holiday Party: Sat., December 7th at Mid Pacific Country Club, Kailua.
Details will be available from the Holiday Party Chairperson, Terri Brown, within the next few months about the upcoming gala at Mid Pac.
It’s time to begin thinking about the ‘classy’ auction that takes place at the Holiday Party. As a reminder for the “seasoned” guild members and a bit of education for our new members, the Holiday Party auction is VERY different than the June auction. Unlike the June auction when we accept all kinds of ‘stuff’, the Holiday Party auction features new, exquisite items that people would buy as gifts for family and friends. Be thinking of lovely wrapped gift baskets (wines/cheeses/ coffees/cookies/ kitchen items/accompanying embroidered towel sets, sewing/quilting essentials, etc.). Think about quilted items: wall hangings, table runners, placemat sets, Hawaiian pillows, bags, jackets, etc. Lovely handcrafted holiday wreaths have always been a staple at the auction, along with other Holiday/Christmas motif items
