Featured artist: Carla Simao. Carla’s quilts perfectly embody the spirit of our “Lucky, We Live Hawai’i” theme, showcasing the revered art of traditional Hawai’ian quilting as well as depictions of these islands we call home. vibrant landscapes, cultural richness, and warmth of our islands.

Just a reminder for members: The entry window for the 2025 Quilt Show opens on February 1 and runs through March 17. Irene will be accepting quilts for photographs and preparation for the show. Challenge quilts will be due at the April meeting (28th), and a table will be set up, and Aloma, Stella, and Betty will receive them. Ensure any identifying names are taped over, and the bags they come in are unidentifiable.
So it’s time to get busy quilting! We can’t wait to see everyone’s beautiful creations come together for the show. We’re also continuing to accept items for the Quilted Treasures store at each meeting!
