How to Join

  • Annual dues are $30 for individual and $50 for family memberships, which covers the period of July 1 through June 30.
  • Complete https://hawaiiquiltguild.dreamhosters.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/HQG-Fillable-Membership-Form.pdf and mail with a check made out to “Hawaii Quilt Guild”: HQG Membership, P.O. Box 30423, Honolulu, HI 96820
  • Newsletters are emailed to paid members on the 10th of the month. Send your membership application before the first of the month to ensure you won’t miss a newsletter.

Meetings

  • Monthly membership meetings are on the fourth (not always the last) Monday of the month at Toho No Hikari Hawaii (3510 Nuuanu Pali Drive). Meetings begin at 6:30 pm, check in opens around 6 pm.
  • Typical meeting agenda:
  • Committee updates and other business
  • Program – Could be a fun activity, guest speaker presentation, trunk show, etc.
  • Birthdays & snack break – Always the most popular part of the meeting!
  • Show & tell – Mini bee, classes, and block-of-the-month participants show what they made. Members show items they completed.
  • Door prize – Raffle for members wearing name tags. If you don’t have one, make one!
  • The June meeting is a potluck and auction; December is a holiday luncheon (typically on a Saturday) and auction.
